We recommend basic obedience training for any / all dogs - from working K-9's to your favorite couch potato pet dog. Teaching the dog a command structure and a set of basic commands can make all the difference in the enjoyment your dog brings to the party of being an integral part of your family unit. We train both the dog and owner(s) to make sure that everyone is armed with the correct knowledge, skills and tools to maintain a positive and healthy relationship.

Take your dog's obedience skills to the next level with our advanced off-leash obedience training program. This course is a continuation of our Basic Obedience Training program that will transfer your dogs on-leash abilities to off-leash performance. Included in the program pricing is an electronic e-collar. We will integrate the e-collar into the dogs gear profile, "pair" it with your dogs known negative markers & corrections, then generalize the behaviors so that your dog executes the same commands off-leash as they do on-leash by having the ability to host accountability while keeping the dogs level of enthusiasm and motivation high.  

Royal Port K-9 actively participates in events affiliated with Working Dogs of America, Inc. (WDA). WDA is a Working Dog Registry and Titling Program offering titles in five different divisions: Obedience, Protection, Protection Sport, Police Dog & Tracking. Andrew Rowland is a certified decoy through WDA and works events around the region as needed. RPK9 actively trains for components of WDA titles on a consistent basis to prepare both handlers and dogs for their next achievement.
