Dog Training Programs and Packages

Give your puppy the very best by investing in them right from the beginning  with a head start learning program during the most impressionable time of their life. We accept puppies into this program from 10-16 weeks of age. The program last approximately a week and a half and is a board and train program where the puppy stays with us during that time. The puppy will be exposed to environmental  situations for positive socialization purposes while receiving an introduction to basic desired behaviors / commands like Sit, Down, Stay, Place & Come (recall command). The puppy will also receive an introduction in basic leash manners, crate training and good potty habits. Included in the price is a training session for the owner and family where you will learn how to effectively communicate with your puppy and understand the proper use of markers & rewards. Puppies that attend and graduate from this program have a major advantage for success later on when they enroll in the other programs we offer - and make for some of the most well mannered companions as adult dogs. 

The basic OB program is one of our most popular programs. All breeds & all ages can benefit from this package. This is a Board & Train Program that is typically 2-3 weeks long. We work at your dogs pace to keep learning fun and exciting. Since every dog is a little different (just like us hoomans), we tailor the training strategies to each individual dog and thus - the duration of the program varies accordingly. In this program, your dog will learn a comprehensive command structure to understand when they are - and are not - in command. They will also learn to execute basic commands like Sit, Down, Stay, Place, Come, Sit/Stay, Down/Stay & Walking with a loose leash heel. Includes a training collar and leash for the dog. Also includes a dog training session with you and your new well-mannered pet at the end so that you understand how to effectively communicate with and operate your dog.

As a stand alone  program, this course covers everything included in the Basic Obedience package plus the tools and skills for your dog to transition to off-leash performance. Once the command structure is in place and the dog is able to execute commands proficiently, we begin to transition the dog to execute those commands off-leash and at some distance. This is a Board and Train program and typically last 5-6 weeks. As a continuance of the Basic Obedience program, pricing is reduced to $1,850 and typically last 3-4 weeks. As a Stand Alone or Continuance, price includes an electronic training collar and a training session at the end for the owner and family to train with their dog.

Individual training sessions start as low as $80 per session when you schedule and pre-pay for (10) sessions. We also offer a (5) session bundle for $500 when pre-paid, and we schedule sessions on an individualized basis for $120. Sessions typically last +/- an hour (depending on the dogs energy and engagement level). During these sessions, we train both the dog and the handler. Its a great way to build a relationship with your dog and is also great way to continue training after your dog has graduated RPK9 University. Sessions can be scheduled at your home, subject to additional costs for travel expenses. Contact us for any questions or scheduling inquiries.
